PetalMD (www.petalmd.com) is a young, vibrant software company based in Quebec City. We’re in business to provide high-quality, web-based eHealth productivity tools to health professionals.
We’re looking to grow our professional services team with an experienced consultant that will act as a business analyst for our clients. This person will interact on a daily basis with doctors, streamlining their business processes into PetalMD. This consultant will be an active participant in managing the holistic implementation process, and will assist in strengthening our implementation toolbox.
This position is home-based, preferably in the Montreal area. Expect 10-15 % of travel per month, and a minimum of 50% out-of-office customer meeting time per week. We offer a competitive compensation package with benefits related to the nature of our growing company. Apple products will be provided as productivity tools.
What you will do
- You will lead customer sessions to engineer work schedule structures of a medical specialty into PetalMD
- You will work with the project manager to establish “Go-Live” timelines
- You will manage requirements & delivery timeline of change requests for installed customer
- You will actively contribute in strengthening department methodologies and toolsets.
What you need to be successful
- Have a recognized, high-level of attention to customer service & satisfaction
- You must be bilingual; English & French (written & spoken)
- Have five (5) years of active consulting or business analysis experience; e.g. in the field of work schedule development, content management systems (CMS), etc
- Have an innate ability to resolve complex logical puzzles
- Have a proven track record of simultaneously delivering multiple successful projects within tight timelines.
- Strong communication skills (written, spoken & public speaking)
- Work efficiently in a virtual environment, using teleconference and presentation tools
- Be a passionate, autonomous self-starter
Assets
- Business Analyst certification (e.g. CCBA, CBAP)
- Have working experience in the healthcare industry

What is the Role
PetalMD’s Regional Sales Managers are chartered with customizing our business development strategies at the local and regional level, building and managing their territories and exceeding their targets. They are responsible for the full sales cycle, selling directly to the physician community, hospitals and other pertinent healthcare organizations. They will manage multiple accounts and maintain a robust sales pipeline while ensuring successful account transition to the client implementation team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced sales professional in EMR, pharmaceuticals or medical devices with a successful track record selling direct to Specialists in Outpatient clinics and hospitals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to discuss business opportunities from the clinic to the departmental executive level while leveraging PetalMD full suite of solutions and services
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in person, in group presentations.
- Strong closing skills with a proven ability to build and leverage networks and deliver the results
- Great team player with a passion for innovation and a winning attitude
- Experience managing all stages of sales cycles and sales process
- Proven focus on customer success and satisfaction combined with the ability to manage customers and coordinate with the client implementation team
- University degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 5 plus years of healthcare sales experience with a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and understanding of clinics
- Amenable to moderate travel. Must be comfortable and productive working in a home-office environment
